Originally from South Texas, Laura has lived most of her adult life in both Central and Southeast Texas. Laura studied Architecture at Texas A&M University and spent several years designing multi-family housing in Austin, TX before relocating to Houston in 2016. Prior to joining PCSD, Laura served as Project Manager for an affordable housing and community development non-profit organization in Houston.
In her free time, Laura loves being outside with her two kids, Elijah and Davie, exploring the great parks of Houston. She also loves animals and has two dogs and a cat and enjoys traveling when she gets the chance.
